Was torn between this and the North Face Summit Series, but wanted to support a local Colorado company. Glad I went with Himali.

This is my third piece from them after two sun hoodies that have held up great, so I had a good feeling going in.

The weight and temperature regulation are spot on. I run warm and I’m still leaving it on through hikes. Early morning weekend errands, layering on the trail, it handles everything.

It’s also gotten noticeably softer and more comfortable with wear, which you don’t see often in performance gear. Held up great so far and it’s become a genuine staple.

Himali must have a secret formula like Coca-Cola to make all their products extremely comfortable, soft and warm. I bought a Large/Cosmos color at 20% off during their sale. I am 6'2" and a 36" sleeve. The sleeve length is about 38" for a Large which is fine. See pictures and video online as it has a looser athletic fit. It is not 100% windproof like Gore-Tex Paclite or Gore Infinium Windstopper and is mainly designed for layering. You can use it as a standalone top provided you have mild winter wind conditions. I wear the top with the Endeavor Fleece bottoms which is a great combination. The only problem is that you may never want to take them both off. Recommended.

The 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover is very warm especially given how light weight and packable it is. It is a great layer to bring along on a cool day of hiking.
