Pasang Tendi Sherpa was born to a mountaineering family in Juving, Solukhumbu where he was inspired from a very young age by the discipline and work ethic of the Sherpa people that work in the mountains. He has become one of the first Sherpa to earn an International Mountain Guide (UIAGM/IFMGA) Certification - one of the highest certifications in the field. He is a very accomplished mountaineer with summits on 10x 8,000m peaks (including Everest from the North Ridge) and 30+ summits of 6,000 & 7,000m peaks, such as Mt. Amdablam, throughout the Himalayas. He also has one of the most infectious laughs and has been working in Nepal as an instructor for upcoming mountaineers since 2018.
