In 2016, David Roeske became only the fourth person to successfully climb Mount Everest and another Himalayan 8000-meter peak, Cho Oyu, without supplemental oxygen, in the same season. To say that David Roeske has an affinity for impossible challenges is an understatement. He has summited 4 8000 meter peaks without supplemental oxygen.
